Monty's Crush of the Week

Aw, goodbye Halloween 2012, hello Holiday Season! Why isn't Halloween considered part of the "holiday season" though? Well, it is to me! Anyways, we bid it adieu till next year! Now, this week's crush...

Zooey Deschanel
(Mumford, Almost Famous, Manic, The Good Girl, Abandon, Big Trouble,The New Guy, All the Real Girls, Elf, Eulogy, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Winter Passing, Winter Passing, Once Upon a Mattress, Failure to Launch, Live Free or Die, The Good Life, The Go-Getter, Bridge to Terabithia, Flakes, Surf's Up {voice}, Weeds, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Tin Man, The Happening, Gigantic, Yes Man, 500 Days of Summer, Our Idiot Brother, You Highness, The New Girl and more, plus singing duo She & Him)

I have only seen a handful of her movies and stuff, and sometimes I really crush on her, sometimes not so much. But, when I do, I REALLY do. She particularly got to me in Elf, which was the first time I saw her. Plus, what a singer! Though, I don't always like her music, ha. She has a perfect voice for those jazzy, 60's songs. The ones that aren't too fast, preferably. She sounded great singing "Winnie the Pooh" on the soundtrack to the recent feature film, and I LOVE her rendition of "Baby It's Cold Outside" soooo much! She can look both great and meh as a brunette, but like I said, I first fell for her in "Elf", so I have a weakness for her specifically at that time period and as a blonde. She must have done her episode of Frasier right around the same time. I hear her current TV show is great. I'll have to check it out someday. I don't even have TV right now though, so it's a chore just to watch my main 4 shows (but they're worth it, ha).

Incidentally, there are a ton of images of Zooey out there, and I only like a fraction of them, but those ones are gorgeous and very tough to choose from. Definitely, I was torn between a few. But, be glad I didn't just post a collage of her as Jovie the Chrismas Elf, ha. Love her like that!
