Slue Foot Sue
(Melody Time, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, House of Mouse)
I figured it was about time I do another toon beauty for crush of the week, what do you think? I know a lot of guys try to act like having toon crushes is messed up. Well, if you feel that way, you're in the wrong place. I have a ton of them, and I always have, and if you'll be honest, you probably have too, or you're one of those stick-in-the-mud cartoon haters. God, I can't stand people who can't appreciate good animation. And, speaking of good animation, here's some great animation. This week's crush is Slue Foot Sue, from Disney's 1948 "package feature" (which basically means anthology), "Melody Time". She's from the outstanding (and brutally edited on its DVD release) Pecos Bill segment of the film. Slue Foot Sue, of course, is the GORGEOUS girl with the tragic fate. She and Pecos Bill fall in love, but Pecos's horse, Widowmaker, gets very jealous. That's all the spoilers I'm giving, but you definitely should check this film out. Apparently, she was in Roger Rabbit, my favorite film, but I'll have to rewatch it closely to see if I can find her. I don't recall seeing her in it before. Of course she was in House of Mouse though. Nearly everyone was! Even Benny the Cab! Sadly, not Roger, Jessica, or Baby though. But, I'm getting off topic. Just look at this goddess! Really, you just can't beat animated Disney redheads. In real-life I can't say I have a true hair color preference (I just don't like for it to look fake), but in animation, there is just something about the way the redheads look. They're amazing! And the Disney ones are especially amazing. And Sue is no exception! She's also go the cowgirl thing going on, in the sexy boots and all. I remember one time in particular when I was REALLY into cowgirl types. But, I doubt I could have ever made it work with one. I am not redneck enough, or at all, really, and though I was going through a country music phase at that time, I generally don't like country music at all. Let's just say that was when EVERYONE liked country music, because Garth Brooks, Dwight Yoakem, George Strait, and that whole crew were really hot then. But, I digress yet again. Point is, I can definitely appreciate country girls, and Slue Foot Sue is the queen of them all! Have you seen this girl ride a catfish?!
